EnviroSolve conducted an evaluation of these data that resulted in recommendations for reduced long-term monitoring costs and provided the data for an informed evaluation of the ongoing groundwater remediation effort. |

A former rocket motor testing facility in a remote mountainous area was discovered to have chlorinated solvent residuals in soil and groundwater at several different locations. EnviroSolve was retained to design groundwater treatment systems and the telemetry equipment needed to remotely monitor the performance of the treatment units. One of the units, located one mile from the nearest electric power supply, was designed to operate on solar power with operating data being transmitted via solar powered radio telemetry in digital format. EnviroSolve´s work scope included the design, programming, and coordination of telemetry equipment for operating data transmission from as many as eight treatment units planned for the full development of the groundwater treatment program at this site. |

Telemetry Data Collection and

EnviroSolve designed and implemented a computer operated telemetry data collection and reporting system for vapor extraction systems operated by a major oil company. Due to budgetary review initiated by the Lawrence Livermore report, the system is currently in abeyance, but can be restarted at any time. Its purpose is to archive facility-specific data from environmental remediation equipment in operation at various locations throughout the United States. The data collected is placed into a master database for use in evaluating remediation hardware performance. The system enables EnviroSolve is thus able to perform the evaluations by providing numerous customer reports including data trend graphs, resulting in the following benefits for our client:
- Overall costs for collection and tabulation of remediation equipment O&M data are reduced.
- The data reporting formats are standardized.
- All users, including the client, consultants, and equipment manufacturers, are provided with easy access to remediation data.
- O&M providers make fewer trips to the field to service remediation hardware.
Data is available in Excel format for the client´s consultants and manufacturers via a computer "bulletin board" data delivery system. Access and selection of available files is controlled by an online security system administered by EnviroSolve.
